USA - California - Bishop
Bishop is the only city and the largest populated place in Inyo County, California. It is located near the northern end of the Owens Valley, at an elevation of 4147 feet (1264 m) and was named after Bishop Creek, flowing out of the Sierra Nevada: the creek was named after Samuel Addison Bishop, a settler in the Owens Valley. This galllery contains pictures from Bishop, nearby Lake Sabrina and Mono Lake further north along highway 395. September 2012. And hey.......Malaysian Mr Lim runs an incredible Thai restaurant located at the privately owned Bishop Airport just outside town. Right in the little terminal building. Pure WingS!
